Continuation of cooperation between the State Museum at Majdanek and Stanisław Staszic High School in Lublin
On January 18, 2018, the State Museum at Majdanek and Stanisław Staszic High School in Lublin began the implementation of another joint venture, which aims to popularize knowledge about the history of KL Lublin among young people
The lecture, in which participated pupils of five classes, was devoted to the origins and functioning of the former concentration camp at Majdanek, and was part of a partnership agreement signed in December 2017 by the director of the State Museum at Majdanek, Tomasz Kranz, and the headmaster of Stanisław Staszic High School No. 1 in Lublin, Stanisław Stoń.
The cooperation will be continued in the form of a series of lectures on German occupation in the Lublin region and the functioning of KL Lublin and the workcamp at the State Museum at Majdanek. This will be the fifth edition of the popularizing project, which attracts a considerable interest among students and teachers.
