Despite the historical significance ascribed to the deportations of Poles during the German occupation, the subject is rarely taken in the activities of Polish martyrdom museums. The exhibition "The Displaced from the Zamość Region in the Majdanek Camp" is the only museum realization in recent years that popularized knowledge of the deportation action in Zamość in 1943.

The nine exhibition panels present biographies of both fathers which are illustrated by photographs, archival documents and excerpts from the accounts concerning their lives and pastoral work and reflecting their stay at the Majdanek concentration camp, including identification tag with Emilian Kowcz’s camp number.

The exhibition is made up of 21 photos taken at the State Museum at Majdanek from January 2010 to April 2011. They are complemented with some information on the history of KL Lublin and spatial arrangement of the Museum at Majdanek, as well as with texts by Leszek Mądzik.

The exhibition presents examples of restorations performed on paper objects coming from the collections of the State Museum at Majdanek. The photographic documentation shows the state of the documents from the camp office, private documents of prisoners and prayer book before the interference of the conservator-restorer. The pictures of the same objects after the restoration are presented next to it. The process of restoration was done by Małgorzata and Wiesław Faber's Studio for Conservation of Artistic Works from Warsaw.
