Addressed to a wide variety of readers, it draws a synthetic picture of the organisation and course of the extermination of Jews in the central and southern German-occupied territories of Poland (known as the General Government). The concise historical outlines are complemented by carefully selected photographs and archival sources.

The publication is available in both Polish and English versions, and was based on the 2022 volume of the Museum’s “Varia” magazine, that was specially prepared for the 80th anniversary of operation “Reinhardt.”
