Special tour on the 80th anniversary for the end of World War II
To mark the 80th anniversary of the World War II ending, we invite for a special tour around Lublin.
The tour will focus on the everyday reality of Lublin’s residents – Poles and Jews – during the German occupation. The participants will see the places within the city space that underwent major transformation due to combat that happened 80 years ago.
The tour begins at the Wieniawa quarter and will continue through the midtown towards the former Jewish quarter of Podzamcze.
Start: 6:30 p.m. at the Teatralny Square (near the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures). The tour will take around 2 hours and span for around 4 kilometres.
