On February 1, 1942, an unnamed Soviet prisoner of war paid in 40 RM (Reichsmarks) to the camp's fund. It was the first recorded contribution, therefore it got no. 1 in the contribution register. Less than two weeks later that POW paid in another 20 RM. The deposit of February 13, 1942, got no. 3. The POW's identity is unknown except for the fact that the signature was written in Cyrillic alphabet. Only two pieces of information remained: part of his birth date (21 February) and the first letter of his signature (name or surname – B). The same person made seven other payments.
