Providing information

The Archives of the State Museum at Majdanek provides information about the details concerning the former prisoners on the basis of the archival materials. Suitable certificates are issued on request. If interested, please submit an application (if possible, also by e-mail at archiwum@majdanek.eu). The application should contain the personal details of the former Majdanek prisoner and all the available information concerning the circumstances in which the given person was arrested, imprisoned and released. Information is not provided by phone.

The website was created within the framework of the programme “Victims of the Nazi Regime-Database of Polish citizens repressed under the German Occupation”, which was initiated by the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) and the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and carried out by The Foundation "Polish-German Reconciliation" (www.fpnp.pl).
