Teachers

A group of adults in the lecture hall
The State Museum at Majdanek has been cooperating with teachers for many years, creating educational programs tailored to the needs of students and supporting educators in developing their professional skills. The methodological meetings that are organized facilitate the exchange of experiences and inspire teachers to seek their own engaging ways of teaching about the difficult past.

Methodological seminars are annual meetings for teachers, organized on a selected Saturday in October. Each edition is devoted to a different theme, which allows participants to look at teaching contemporary history from different perspectives and adapt content and methods to current educational challenges. During the event, participants can learn how to talk about the past in an interesting way, how to prepare their students for a visit to a memorial site, and exchange experiences with other teachers. The event is also an opportunity to discuss with experts who share their knowledge and proven teaching solutions.

Number of participants: up to 75

Duration: one day
